TARANTULA

“A song is nothing but a walk within yourself,” says Dylan.

This book is a masterpiece of poetic expression. The first book Dylan wrote when he was only 23 years old. The elusive and full of symbols in the reader indirectly arouses the desire to unravel the secret. The book is composed of 46 short stories that represent a bridge between poetry and prose. Descriptions of the experiences of people who feel their everyday life in a completely new way. Dylan protests with words against injustice. Many say this book is extensive and difficult to understand. In my opinion, this is not a novel to be taken literally but one should turn inward and see what it evokes in the individual. The novel is full of strange characters on the edge of the afterlife. The novel is difficult to read and narratively incomprehensible.

Dylan Bob - Tarantula

Through archetypes, Dylan protests against racism, injustice, violence, institutions, etc. In the novel's actions, the right to freedom of choice is placed on a pedestal.

Good job, Bob.

Here are a few original versions of the songs:

False Eyelash in Maria's Transmission

“this is my last letter-I've tried to please you,
but i see now that you have
too much on your mind-what you need
is someone to flatter you-i would do that, but
what would be the worth? after all,
i need nothing from you-you are so much tied up in, though,
that you have turned into a piece of hunger-while the mystics
of the world jump in the sun, you have turned
into a lampshade-if you're going
to think,
don’t think about why people don’t love
each
other-think about why they don t love
themselves
maybe then, you will begin to love them…”
Ape on Sunday

“…look you asshole-though I might be nothing
but
a butter sculptor, i refuse to go on working
with the idea of your praising as my reward
like what are your credentials anyway? except
for talking about all us but the sculptors, what else
do you do?”

See you on Tuesday!
